Ok, so this week has been interesting.... My new companion is Sister
Jensen- she's awesome! She's from Taylorsville, Utah. A few things
about her.... she's the national champ for baggging.... like groceries.
There's supposedly competitions in Las Vegas. She's really neat tho and
really outgoing. Then, let's see.... A cool story of hers- her friend
was dating this guy Mike I think is his name and she was going to the
movies and asked if she wanted to come. So Sister Jensen went- they
went and saw "Chronicles of Narnia" and Mike is Thomas S. Monson's
grandson and supposedly the whole first presidency was there.... she sat 5
seats away from Pres. Hinckley.

Well, we're going to work a lot with the ward and we have high goals
set for ourselves so this transfer is going to be fun! We have found a
few people to teach and also this one lady Sharon- she's a little
different, called us again and so we'll be teaching her. Her beliefs are a
little weird, but we have faith that she'll open up and listen. She
wasn't ready when Sister Goertzen and I first tried teaching her. But
she's really excited this time through and really wants to know more. She
needs it, you can see that she wants it, so we just have to use the
Spirit and she'll understand a lot of things a lot better!

So thank you for the CTR ring!!!!! Someone at church asked if it was
an engagement ring- so I said yep! I'm engaged to the church- at least
while I'm on my mission. Let's see.... there's this one family- the
Gonzalez's. We went back to teach them and things were really busy and
his wife wasn't able to sit down, so we were going to schedule a time
to come back and then she invited us for dinner. So I had steak- I
actually ate it- aren't you proud? I had some jambalaya with chicken in
it, but I avoided it for the most part- I still don't really like it.
The steak wasn't awesome either.... it was a little pinkish in parts and
I really didn't like that part especially.... but anyways.... things
are going well. We are in the process of REALLY trying to get our
apartment cleaned up. That'll be fun!

Let's see.... Elder Jones is still my DL, and he's training this
transfer- an Elder Knight. He's funny- doesn't seem too green. He joked and
told Elder Jones to remember that he's "his Knight in shining
armor"..... It was pretty funny.

Well, I'm trying to think.... I'm not remembering too much more-
thanks for the addresses! Hope everything is going well there- things are
good here. We hope to be teaching a lot of people and seeing a lot of
miracles here.

Love yall!

Sister Jamie Lang!
